Introducing Disney Book Week 2017!

Share in the magic of storytime with our Disney Book Week campaign.

We are very pleased to announce the third consecutive year of our fantastic Disney Book Week campaign!

We’ve been working with Disney for several years now, publishing many different books for so many of Disney’s beautiful stories (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Cars, etc.).

This is why we couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with them on Disney Book Week; it’s a campaign that culminates all of the wonderful work we do with them into one big event.

Disney Book Week is all about promoting the magic of storytime. Our goal is to encourage a shared love of reading to grow between parents and children by reading together. Even though it’s called ‘Disney Book Week‘ it actually runs from 15 May to 11 June.

Every year, we choose eight of our favourite Disney stories to feature for the campaign, and this year we’ve chosen Cars, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Frozen Magic of the Northern Lights, Tangled and Finding Dory.

To celebrate Disney Book Week, families can relive their favourite Disney moments transformed from screen to page with Parragon’s Disney Movie Collection books.

What are the Disney Movie Collection books, you may ask?

Well, they are a beautifully illustrated series of storybooks that are the movie tie-ins for some of Disney’s most popular stories in a deluxe large-size hardback format.

There are over 20 books in the collection and definitely have an air of nostalgia to them: with their classic front cover designs, they hark back to when we older folks were growing up with Disney!

They are the perfect addition to any Disney lover’s collection, and with more than 20 in the series, why not try to collect them all?! They’re available at Amazon, Smyths Toys and Asda, and you can find them online here.

Be sure to keep up with us on social media for more exciting news and updates about Disney Book Week, including a competition launching soon!

Sorry if this seems a bit nosy. By law we have to ask for your date of birth to check that you are over 12 years old. If you’re 12 or under please ask a parent or guardian to do this bit for you. Thanks very much.
