Celebrate Banana Day with this healthy and delicious smoothie recipe.

Vanilla, Almond & Banana Smoothie

This almond-based smoothie is sweetened only with dates, but it tastes as sweet and delicious as the best milkshake you ever had – it is also packed with protein!

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

225 ml/8 fl oz almond milk

60 g/2¼ oz almond butter

1 banana

4 stoned dates

1 tsp vanilla extract

8–10 ice cubes

 

1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

2. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
